1. Choosing the Right LEGO Display Case

Whether you own a single LEGO display case or multiple LEGO display cases for a growing collection, selecting the perfect fit is key. Here’s what to prioritize:

  • Size & Compatibility: Measure your model’s height, width, and depth. For larger builds like LEGO Millennium Falcon, consider a custom-sized LEGO acrylic display case to ensure a snug fit.

for example: small size display case for Lego Speed Champion series/Skyline

  • Material: Acrylic LEGO display cases offer shatter-resistant clarity, while UV-resistant glass protects against sunlight fading.

  • Lighting: Pair display cases for Legos with LED kits to highlight intricate designs like LEGO Technic sets.

2. Step-by-Step Installation Tips

a. Pre-Installation Preparation

  • Clean the Workspace: Prevent dust from settling inside your LEGO display case by wiping surfaces with a microfiber cloth.

  • Check the Package Contents

Unbox the display case for LEGO bricks and check if all components are included, such as acrylic panels, the base, top cover, connectors, and screws (if applicable).  Ensure that any protective film on the acrylic panels remains intact during installation to prevent fingerprints or scratches.

b. Assembling the Display Case

  • Secure the Base: For heavy models (e.g., LEGO Titanic), use reinforced bases in LEGO display cases to prevent sagging.

  • Attach Panels: Magnetic panels (common in modular LEGO display cases) simplify alignment. Avoid overtightening screws on acrylic LEGO display cases to prevent cracks.

During assembly, follow the instructions in order and place each acrylic panel in the correct position to avoid misalignment, which could lead to an unstable structure.

If screws are required for fixation, the diameter of the drilled holes should be 50% larger than the screw size to allow for thermal expansion and contraction. Avoid screwing in areas with bends to prevent cracking of the panels.

Screws should be tightened evenly to ensure that the panels are compressed against the sealing strips, preventing leaks.

C. Secure the Top Cover

  • Carefully place the top cover onto the structure. Some designs may require aligning slots, while others may feature magnetic closures.
  • Ensure the top cover fits tightly with the side panels to avoid large gaps.

d. Place and Adjust Your LEGO Set

  • Gently position your LEGO bricks, models, or collectibles inside the display case for LEGO sets, ensuring they are well-arranged.
  • Adjust the display case’s placement to avoid direct sunlight and humid environments, which can help maintain its clarity and durability.

Important Notes:

  • Avoid External Damage

During installation, handle the parts carefully to avoid impact with hard or sharp   objects, which can cause scratches or deformation.

  • Cleaning Method:
Do not use ammonia-based or alcohol-based cleaners as they can damage the acrylic surface. It is recommended to use a soft, damp cloth or a special acrylic cleaner to wipe the surface.

  • Regular Inspections:
After long-term use, regularly check for issues such as loose screws or aging sealing strips. Reinforce or replace parts as necessary to ensure stability and prevent damage.

  • Transportation and Storage:
If the display case needs to be moved, wrap it in shock-absorbing materials (such as foam or stretch film) to prevent collisions and damage during transport.

  • Prevent Damage from Children:
Keep the display case out of reach of young children to avoid accidental damage from touching or tampering, which could lead to scratches or breakage.
