Set of 4 six-spoke wheel covers with axle hole, 43mm in diameter, compatible with part 44772, in Medium Stone Grey (Light Bluish Gray), LEGO part number 6508515 / 6687.
Instead of designing an entirely new mold for the wheels in this set, the LEGO Technic team chose to use a wheel cover solution.
Here it is compared to the other wheel.
That said, the cover fits seamlessly onto its intended wheel, part 44772. Thanks to its flange, it remains perfectly centered on the wheel, even without needing an axle to secure them together.
New prints
All of the set’s visual detailing is done with stickers, except for the rear mudguards. Their curved surfaces are too complex for stickers to adhere properly, so instead, LEGO printed the graphics directly onto the parts. These include:
